Vision

Ascend 2026 will be an amazing convergence of the 120th anniversary of the Azusa Street outpouring and the 250th anniversary of the United States.  Joined by special guests, Will Ford and Bob Sorge, we will spend the evenings of April 9th (the exact anniversary of the Azusa outpouring) and 10th, celebrating this amazing outpouring and asking the Lord to release a fresh wind of His Spirit over the Church of the Delaware Valley.  On April 11th, we will gather on the historic grounds of Independence Mall to worship the Lord in a region wide Passover Seder.  This covenant meal is the context in which the Lord’s Supper is set.  As we gather on the same grounds where our nation was birthed 250 years ago to celebrate Christ, our Passover Lamb, we are releasing a new declaration that Jesus is all we need!

Speakers

Will Ford

Will Ford is the founder of Hilkiah Ministries and leads the Marketplace Leadership Major at Christ For The Nations Institute in Dallas. He is known for a kettle used by his enslaved ancestors, who prayed beneath it at night to muffle their voices, not for their own freedom, but for future generations.

Today, Will uses this “prayer bowl” to gather people in prayer, teaching on intercession, unity, and revival. He emphasizes the role of unified prayer across racial lines in shaping America’s spiritual history.

Will speaks nationwide, has been featured in major media, and co-authored History Makers. He is married with four children.

Bob Sorge

Bob Sorge is “the speaker who can’t talk”—that is, he is reduced to a whisper because of a debilitating vocal injury he suffered over 20 years ago. Through the journey, God has given him an empowering message that explores God’s purposes in fiery trials. It’s not the fire that changes you but your pursuit of God in the fire that changes you. Bob has a unique way of helping us process our journey so we stay in the race and overcome. Whether you’re reading one of his books or listening to him, you’re about to receive a message from the heart of God that will strengthen your faith and draw you into greater intimacy with Jesus.

Jamie Fitt

Jamie Fitt has been serving the Body of Christ in worship and teaching for over 20 years.  Jamie moves in breakthrough worship with a strong emphasis on prophetic worship and releasing the ‘song in the moment’.

As a speaker, Jamie releases Biblical principles coupled with prophetic revelation that launches the hearer into a greater realization of his or her destiny.

Jamie lives in Philadelphia, PA where he is the Director of Philadelphia Tabernacle of David, a ministry that he co-founded along with his family.

PTOD Worship

Philadelphia Tabernacle of David is a community of people from many different churches with a passion to see Philadelphia transformed by the dynamic presence of God. PTOD is intentional about making a resting place for the Lord through continuous worship and prayer. Endeavoring to follow the principles of David’s Tabernacle, PTOD seeks to create a spiritual climate that will aid in the fulfillment of the Great Commission. Representatives from PTOD have ministered extensively in the tri-state area, across the state of Pennsylvania and in various other states.

Vision

This year our nation will celebrate its 250 birthday, marked by the anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.  This 5th Jubilee is a key prophetic time to declare the worth of the Lamb of God and the liberating power of His blood.  For years, we have been building an altar of worship to the Lord at Independence Mall – an altar that sits on federal land, and speaks over our nation.  In this season, we felt it was imperative to gather on the Mall for a Passover Seder to declare the full measure of the redemptive work of our Passover Lamb.  As we partake of the seder and worship together, we are sowing seeds of the testimony of Jesus into the very ground where hundreds of thousands will visit over the next months.  Join us as we declare the powerful salvation of God and the finished work of the cross into the atmosphere of the Greater Philadelphia region as well as our entire nation.
